Atty. Arthur M. Blasi, 87, died suddenly at home in Danvers on Nov. 9, 2009. Born in Boston on Sept. 29, 1922, he was raised and educated in Boston and earned degrees from the University of Miami, Heidelberg University, and the Suffolk School of Law. He served honorably in the US Army during WWII and Korea where he was the recipient of 2 purple hearts and a bronze star. For many years, he operated a successful private law practice and was State Corporation Lawyer for Massachusetts. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the York Fish and Game Club and a member of the Ancient and Honorables. He leaves a sister, Mildred Holcomb of OK and five nieces and nephews, James Parks, Gail Delonais, Arthur Parks, Noreen McKinnon, and Dennis McKinnon. Funeral Mass on Fri., Nov. 13, 2009 at 10AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden
