Murphy, Anne (nee) Mullervy age 87 of Tenafly, NJ died peacefully at Sunrise of Edgewater her home for the last 5 years on Monday, November 2, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Jack Murphy. Devoted mother of John of Port Angeles, WA, and the late Patricia. Dear sister of Helen Mullervy and the late Elizabeth and Luke. Anne was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Tenafly, where she had served as Chairman of the Outreach Committee. She had also served on the Boards of the Tenafly Blood Bank, Fish, and the Northern Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. She was also active in the Academy of Holy Angels Showtime Group and served on the Board of the Mother’s Club at Bergen Catholic High School. She was a member of the Hackensack Golf Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Tenafly on Saturday at 9:30AM. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery, Englewood. In lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson Foundation are appreciated.
