Carolyn Jones DawsonCarolyn Jones Dawson, 49, of Chestnut Hill, who was a Sr. Vice President of Construction Practice at Willis of MA, died Tues Sept 2, 2003 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton after a brief illness.Born in Salem, MA she grew up in Topsfield graduated from Mascononett Regional High School, attended Regis College and graduated from UMAS in 1976. She became a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter in 1984. She had lived in Chestnut Hill for the past 18 years and was a member of the Board of Trustee’s at the Brimmer & May School in Chestnut Hill. Carolyn was the wife of the late Christopher Dawson she is survived by her sons Christopher Dawson III and Nicholas Temple Dawson both of Chestnut Hill. She is also survived by her parents Joseph A. and Suzanne (Temple) Jones of Topsfield, her sister’s and brother’s, Nancy Lehman and her husband Terry of West Palm Beach FL, Lauren Jones of Topsfield, Paul Jones and his wife Risa of Danvers, and Joseph Jones and his wife Elizabeth of Georgetown. She was also the sister of the late Howard Jones.A funeral service will be held on Sat. Sept 6, 2003 at 10 AM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Fri.
