Mr. William A. Desrosiers, of Andover and beloved husband of the late Cecile (Champagne) Desrosiers, died at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua on Friday, November 6, 2009. He was 95 years old.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on February 13, 1914, he was the beloved son of the late William and Hannah (Foster) Desrosiers. Bill was a communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover and was a US Army Veteran. He served in the Philippines during WWII. Mr. Desrosiers was employed by Raytheon for more than 35 years.
He will be sorely missed by his daughter Debora A. Biondo of Hudson, New Hampshire.
His funeral service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Calling hours were held on Tuesday, prior to the service, from 9 to 10 AM. Burial was in St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover.
