Obituary

Nancy B. Charneski, 71, formerly of Devonshire Lane, Londonderry, NH died Friday October 5, 2001 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH following a brief illness.

Mrs. Charneski was born in Arlington, Ma, on November 27, 1929. She was the daughter of the late, Charles W. and Beatrice (Wilson) Harwood. She had moved to Nashua in February of 2001 after living in Londonderry for 32 years. She had formerly lived in Arlington, Ma.

She was predeceased in 1999 by her husband, Edmund G. Charneski. She was employed as a Travel Agent for the Armed Forces Entrance Examining Station, Manchester, NH. During and following WW2 and the Korean Conflict she was involved with the USO, a social based military group. She was a communicant of St. Jude Parish Community, Londonderry.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. John (Patricia) Buben Jr., Amherst, NH, one sister, Mary Murphy, Largo, Fl, one brother, John Harwood, Clearwater, Fl, also many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday morning October 8, 2001 from 9:00am to 9:45am in the Peabody Funeral Home, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A mass of christian burial will follow at 10:30am in St. Jude Church, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, Ma. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Giving Program, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
