Obituary

Leo J. Babineau, 73, of Manchester, died at his home, following a long illness. He was born in Mexico ME, January 12, 1936, and was the son of Marcel and Marion(Gaudin) Babineau.
Over the years Leo worked for several companies including Goffstown Auto Parts, Kem-Kote, E&R cleaners, Hermsdorf, Idlenot Dairy, Foster Beef, and managed to help out with his wife’s Tupperware business. Leo was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of the American Legion Sweeney Post # 2.
When the kids were small he volunteer coach at Southwest little league. He will be remembered as an avid fan of football and horse racing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be missed.
Family members include his wife of 50 years, Jean Babineau, of Manchester; his children, Diane Babineau Lemay, of Manchester, Gary Babineau, of Freemont, Michael Babineau, of Manchester, David Babineau, of TX, Dennis Babineau, of Portsmouth, 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces nephews and cousins.

A funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Sacred Heart Church
Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
