Raymond J. "Griff" Griffin III, 45, of Londonderry, NH died on October 13, 2009.
Born in New Bedford on August 7, 1964, the son of the late Raymond J. Griffin Jr. and Catherine J. (Smith) Griffin, he was raised in New Bedford and moved to Newport, NH at the age of sixteen. He completed high school in Newport and was a longtime resident of Londonderry.
Griff was formerly employed for seventeen years as a research and development technician for Hampshire Chemical in Nashua, NH. An avid New England sports fan, he was also fond of dogs and enjoyed caring for his three pet Doberman Pinschers.
He is survived by six sisters, Meg Roy of Excelsior, MN, Tess Griffin of Raleigh, NC, Kate Francheschi of Brockton, Ellen Griffin of San Francisco, CA, Brigid P. Duffy of Lynn, and Alexandra S. Merrill of Lempster, NH; his former wife Cynthia L. Griffin of Manchester, NH; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
