LOWELL—Mary C. (Camody) Sheehan, 82 years old, died Saturday afternoon at her home. She was the wife of the late Leo Sheehan.
She was born in Tennessee, on January 20, 1921, a daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Cook) Camody. She attended school in Alabama and was captain of her high school basketball team. She also graduated from Athens Business College, in Athens, Alabama.
Mrs. Sheehan had been employed as an Inspector by the Raytheon Corporation, of Lowell, for over 20 years, until her retirement.
Surviving her are three sons: Bob Thorlton, of Billerica; Larry Thorlton, of Billerica, and Leo Sheehan, of Lowell; three grandchildren: Michael and Steven Thorlton, both of Billerica, and Tracy McGrail, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; also three great grandchildren: Cherish, Tye and Declan McGrail, all of Florida.
She was the mother of the late Elizabeth Sheehan.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Wednesday, September 3rd, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her funeral service to be held Thursday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial in the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
