Laconia-Ernestine Exilda Bilodeau, 96, of 406 Court Street and formerly of 15 Champagne Avenue, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Ralph J. Bilodeau who died in 1997.
Mrs. Bilodeau was born November 5, 1912 in Franklin, N.H., the daughter of the late David and Leah (Poulin) St. Pierre.
Mrs. Bilodeau resided in Franklin for many years before moving to Laconia in 1939. She was employed at Browning Labs, Sterling Engineering, Allen-Rogers and Gilbert Clock.
Mrs. Bilodeau was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Hunkins, and her husband, Richard, of Laconia; two grandchildren, Patricia Crawford of Magnolia, Texas and Terry Toutaint of Belmont, New Hampshire; four great grandchildren, Christine, Steven, and Sherry Toutaint all of Belmont, New Hampshire, and Audra Crawford of Magnolia, Texas. Two great-great grandsons, one great-great granddaughter, as well as many nieces and nephews also survive Mrs. Bilodeau.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N.H.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield St., Laconia, N.H.
