Charlotte (Meany) Danti, 74, of Easton formerly of Norwood passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2009 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence L. Danti.
Born in Boston, MA on June 18, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Charlotte (Dillon) Meany.
Charlotte grew up in the Brighton section of Boston, was educated in Boston Parochial Schools and was a graduate of the Presentation Academy in Brighton. She furthered her studies by attending Regis College in Weston.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Danti worked as a secretary for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Since living in Easton for the past 13 years she was a member of the Easton Senior Citizens. A former 26 year resident of Norwood, Charlotte treasured the times spent with her loving family, especially those in the presence of her adoring grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband she is survived by her devoted sons Jeffrey L. Danti of Foxboro and Kenneth L. Danti of North Easton. She was the sister of John Meany of Needham and Helen Donahue of Milton and is also survived by her 4 cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday November 7th at 8:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a mass of Christian burial celebrated at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday November 6th from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
