William Forbes Murray, 92, of Salem, NH died Tues. Nov. 3rd at Salemhaven in Salem, NH.
Billy was born in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Ann (Hay) and Adam Murray. He graduated from Lawrence High School. As a young man, Billy enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps and was stationed in Oregon.
Billy was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Lawrence United Lodge and the Spicket Lodge in Salem, NH. He was Past Chief of Clan McPherson in Andover, MA and a member of the Shriners. Billy was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Billy’s family wishes to thank the staff at Salemhaven for the wonderful care and love he received during his stay. Thanks also to Merrimack Valley VNA and Hospice, Amedisys Hospice and Caring for the Heart.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 5th from 10 - 11 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Graveside Service will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
