Alice M. (Dubois) Blanchard 66, of North Main St. Pascoag, passed away Friday in Kindred Hospital, Stoughton, MA after a brief illness. She was the wife of Donald Blanchard. Mrs. Blanchard was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Paul and Mary E. (Ouellette) Dubois. She was a Woonsocket resident most of her life and was a stitcher for the former Sadwin Mfg. Co. in Woonsocket for over thirty years, retiring in 1999. She was a word search puzzle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog "Snowball". Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter Tina Thorne and her husband Don of Ontario, Canada, and three sons; Paul and his wife Debbie of Harrisville, Scott and his wife Ina of Rising Fawn, GA, and Mark of Richmond Hill, GA, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Robert Dubois of Woonsocket, and two sisters; Pauline Labossiere and Janet Gervais both of Woonsocket. She was also the mother late twin daughters, Donna Ann, and Donna Marie Blanchard. Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, with a service in the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham MA. Visiting hours will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
