Scott A. Pynn, 41, passed away at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett on October 31st, 2009. He was born in Arlington on April 11th, 1968 to his parents Ronald and Winifred (Farino) Pynn. Scott has been a resident of Medford for most of his life. He is a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1986 where he excelled in Varsity Football and Varsity Baseball. For over 15 years, he worked in the Maintenance Division at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. The trade of plumbing had become his hobby as he enjoyed working on several different projects with family and friends over the years. He is survived by his children, Brendan Pynn and Olivia Casella, both of Medford; by his longtime companion, Melissa Casella of Medford; by his parents, Ronald and Winifred (Farino) Pynn of Medford; by his siblings, Jennifer Schulte of Nashua, NH, Keith Pynn of Malden, Elizabeth Mitza of Burlington, Ronald Pynn of Chelsea and Matthew Pynn of Medford; and by his grandparents, Anna and Edmund Farino of Cambridge. Scott was also survived by several nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday, November 5th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday November 4th from 4-8 PM. Please omit flowers.
