George F. “Porgie” Riley, of Plymouth formerly of Boston, passed away on October 31st at home at the age of 69. Survived by his loving children Paul Riley of Abington, Patty Brown and her husband Steven, George Riley and Robert Riley and his wife Julie all of Plymouth. He also leaves his 4 cherished grandchildren Megan Brown, Christopher, Daniel and Ashley Riley, his former wife Barbara McGee of AZ, and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Boston and attended Boston Schools. Porgie was a self-employed construction and has lived in Plymouth for 25 years. He enjoyed spending his time with his children and especially his grandchildren. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 8th at the Cuisine of Mark Connolly, 87 Sandwich St, Plymouth from 2 to 4 PM followed by a prayer service at 4 PM. There are no visiting hours and burial is private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in his memory be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Cr, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
