Belvina (Nunes) Cabral, 99, of New Bedford died Sunday August 31, 2003 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Cabral.
Born in Lowell, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Santos) Nunes, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church
Mrs. Cabral was a Past President of the Purple Heart Association and a former member of the Melville Towers Senior Citizens.
Survivors include 4 sons, Raymond P. Cabral of Tiverton, RI, Walter A. Cabral of Florida, Edward T. Cabral and David D. Cabral, both of New Bedford; a daughter, Norma Hardy of New Bedford; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.She was the mother of the late Joseph Cabral and Norman Cabral.
