Obituary

Esther M. (Semonian) Coutts 82 years old, of Kingston died Saturday October 31, 2009 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. Born and raised in Boston she was the daughter of the late Bagdasar and Margaret (Partridge) Semonian. For the past 20 years she had resided in Kingston and previously had lived in Brockton for many years.
Esther retired from the Brockton VA Medical Center as ward secretary in the geriatrics unit. She had also worked at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Brockton where she had been very involved as a volunteer.
In her retirement she enjoyed painting, line dancing and popular music. Esther helped promote the music career of her longtime companion and dear friend Gray Foxxx. Esther’s family and friends were blessed with her passionate devotion.
She is survived by her three children Deborah Guess and her husband Jesse of Denver, Colorado; David Coutts and his wife Mary of Brockton and William Coutts and his wife Karin of Barrington, RI. She was the grandmother of Michael, Hayley, Evan and Anna Coutts and sister of Joseph Semonian of Cherokee Village, AK and the late Rosemary Klag. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10 am. Funeral Service in St. Paul Anglican Church 701 Pleasant St. Brockton at 11 am. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 pm. Donations in Esther’s name may be made to Susan G.
