Franklin Thomas Burns, 67, Clarksville, died Saturday, October 31, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Bro. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 16, 1942 in McGhee, Arkansas. He is the son of the late Henry Thomas Burns and Marie McCurdy Burns. He retired from the U.S. Army where he served in both Vietnam and Domician Republic. He was a member of the 1st Assembly of God. He was also a member of the VFW and American Legion. Survivors include his wife Hui Cha Burns of Clarksville. Two sons, Jeff Burns of Fort Worth, TX and Michael Burns of Harrison, ARK. One step-son; John Henry Goble of Montgomery, Minn. Five Step-daughters Angel Pint, Savage, Minn.; Melody Stephens, Clarksville, Kim Armstrong, Phoneix, AZ, Linda Casper and Jennifer Casper both of Clarksville. Five brothers; David, Earl, Robert, Bernard Burns all of ARK. and Melvin Burns of CA. Three sister; Carloyn Squire, Mary Cooley and Martha Johnson all of Ark. Fifteen grandchildren.
