Obituary

Methuen, Ma. – James J. Bartlett, 46, died October 25, 2009 in Boston.
Mr. Bartlett was born in Methuen son of the late William H. and Mary M. (Sullivan) Bartlett. Jim was a graduate of Methuen High School.
For many years he was a Laborer with the Lawrence Laborers Union #175.
A Veteran of the United States Army he was the recipient of the Army Service Ribbon, and received the Sharpshooter Badge and Marksman Badge prior to being honorably discharged from the United States Army.
Jim was very proud of his union membership, and loved spending time with his children and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Survivors include his children daughters Jamie and Maura Bartlett of Derry, NH, and son James of Lowell. One sister Mary Rose Bartlett & her husband Frank Greeley of Methuen, brothers Michael of Methuen, Martin of Austin,Texas, Robert and his wife Tracy Bartlett of Haverhill his aunt Kay O’Donnell of Methuen and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may pay their respects on Sunday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street Methuen with services to follow at 9 P.M. from the funeral home.
Burial will follow at a later date in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
