Sophie S. Loffler, 93, of East Broadway, Derry, NH died Saturday evening August 30, 2003 at the Integrated Health Services of Derry. Mrs. Loffler was born in Austria on August 23, 1910 the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Josepha (Mausser) Schmuck. She had resided in Derry for nearly 20 years, formerly living in Pawling, NY for 32 years and Queens, NY. She had worked as a self employed caterer while living in Pawling.
She is survived by her son, Paul H. Loffler of Derry, one granddaughter, Susan Hickey of Bedford, NH and her sister, Tina Hofferle of Munich, Germany. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Loffler in 1975 and also by her daughter, Anita Loffler in 1978.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, private burial services will be held in St. John’s Cemetery, Pawling, NY. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling arrangements.
