WORCESTER-Sofia (Gogo) Manco, 82, of Worcester, died Wednesday, October 28th in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Pandi Manco; two sons, Alfred Manco and his wife Mimoza of Worcester and Arben Manco and his wife Marjeta of Clearwater, FL; three sisters, Dhimitra Nole of Chicago, IL and Maria Kera and Petrina Terova, both of Albania; and three grandchildren.
She was born in Albania, the daughter of Kristaq and Andromaqi (Mocuka) Gogo and moved here in 1997. Mrs. Manco was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church.
The funeral is Saturday, October 31st, from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a service at 9:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday, October 30th in the funeral home.
