Flora Rebecca Hand, 83, Clarksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Brother Steve Kirby and Brother Roy Goodmiller officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday and from 12:00 PM until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born on Jan. 24, 1926, in Lexington, AL. the daughter of Boscoe Barnett and Fannie Mae Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers Thomas Barnett, Leslie Barnett, Loice Barnett, Robert Barnett, two sisters Clatie Barnett and Dorothy Nutt. She was the owner of Hand's Cafe for twenty-three years. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter Norma Jean(Paul) Smith of Clarksville, one brother Herbert Barnett of Florence, AL. and one sister Leatie Mae Killen of Lawrenceburg, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
