Antonia "Toni" (Pinho) Souza, 71, of New Bedford died August 30, 2003 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late Antonio Souza.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John M. and Maria V. (Nunes) Pinho, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Survivors include 4 sons, Brian K. Souza and Peter R. Souza of New Bedford, Michael A. Souza and James S. Souza of East Bridgewater; 3 daughters, Linda L. Fontes, Cynthia A. Pousinho, and Brenda S. Guidry-LaFleur, all of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Manuel Pinho and John Pinho both of North Dartmouth; 2 sisters, Linda Sylvia of New Bedford and Otilia Allen of Rumford, Rhode Island; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Janet M. LaFrance and sister of the late Aurora Rebello and Louise Watts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, September 3rd at 9 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday, September 2nd from 4-8 PM.
