WORCESTER-Gertrude F. (Kendall) Beshaw, 72, of 475 Chandler Street, formerly of Hudson, NY, died Monday January 14th in UMass-Memorial Healthcare, Memorial Campus after an illness. She leaves her son Robert L. Beshaw of Worcester; four daughters, Trudy Epstein and Jamie Beshaw both of Worcester, Melissa “Lisa” A. Jordon of Millbury and Mary Lou Kortekamp of Monson; a brother, three sisters, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Three brothers and five sisters predeceased her.
She was born in Hudson, NY the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Scheffer) Kendall and lived in Worcester for many years. Mrs. Beshaw worked as a mom for fifty years, a grandmother for 28 years and a great grandmother for 7 years. She enjoyed cooking.
The funeral will be Friday, January 18th, with a service at 1:00 PM in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home 592 Park Avenue. Calling hours are Friday, January 18th, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Committal will be private.
