Catherine Ann Legette, 56, of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 10:30 o’clock at Maranatha Baptist Church. Inurnment will be held at Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 until the hour of service at the church.
Cathy was born December 4, 1952 in Lincolnville, daughter of the late Chester F. Boren and Blanche Dangerfield Boren. She attended schools in New Jersey. She enjoyed painting, drawing, reading and crafts. Survivors are: 1 daughter: Sherry D. Legette Laliscio of Charlotte, North Carolina, grandchildren: Justin Allen Legette of Walterboro, Ryan Thomas Hall of Charleston, Madelyn Leese Legette of Charlotte, North Carolina and Leann Claire Laliscio of Charlotte, North Carolina, 6 sisters: Hazel Ramirez (Homer) of Adkins, Texas, Edith Muckenfuss (Olson) of Dayton, Texas, Floraine Muckenfuss of Lincolnville, Melanie Boren Childers (James) of Lincolnville, Carol Baker (Chris) of Dayton, Texas and Denise Humphrey (Mark) of Newark, Ohio 3 brothers: Billy Boren (Annette) of Ridgeville, Odell Boren of Ridgeville and David Wade Boren (Angela) of Toledo, Ohio, 29 nieces and nephews, 51 great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son: Stephen Driggers.
