SMIGIELSKI, Estelle A. M. (Cantara). Of Chelsea, October 25th. Devoted wife of the late Vincent H. "Freddie". Beloved sister of the late Gloria Hammond, Aurora Clarke and Ernest Cantara. Lovingly survived by by nieces and nephews including William Hammond and the late David Hammond. Fondly adored by her great niece Amanda Hammond. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated on Thursday, October 29th in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, Chelsea at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Born in New Hampshire and a long time Chelsea resident, Estelle, at 90 years of age, passed away Sunday morning at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home where she had been receiving supportive care. During her working career which spanned many years until her retirement in the late 1970's, she was employed as a technician for Computervision Corp.
