Leo V. Hurley 88, of Rainville Ave. North Smithfield died Thursday in Florida. He was the husband of the late Laurianne (Turcotte) Hurley. Mr. Hurley was born in Woonsocket a son of the late John and Susannah (McCabe) Hurley. He was a machinist at the former Whitens Machine for many years before retiring. Mr. Hurley was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran.
He is survived by two daughters Elaine Rimel of Tarpon Springs, FL and Lorraine Deturk of Fleetwood, PA; a brother Edward Hurley of Portsmouth, RI; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late William and John Hurley
His funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. John's Church, Church St. in Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
