DUDLEY - George K. Bair, 79, of Joshua Place, died Sunday, October 25, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Beverly G. (Vosburg) Bair; a son, George A. Bair and his wife Caren M. Bair of Warren; a daughter, Debra C. Bair and her companion Jack Domingoes of Portsmouth, RI; 3 grandchildren, Patrick Kacie and Shelley; a sister, Barbara Peckham of Woodstock; nephews and nieces. His sister Lois Millette died in 2008.
He was born in Webster, the son of George and Anna (Heald) Bair. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1948 and studied floriculture at the University of Masachusetts at Amherst.
Mr. Bair worked in grounds maintenance at Nichols College for many years before he retired in 1995.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Dudley and a former member of the Dudley Grange #163.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the First Congregational Church of Dudley, 135 Center Road, Dudley, MA 01571. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
