Loving father of Michael Gillis and his wife Annemarie of Roslindale, Donna and her husband Christopher Sullivan of Auburn, Anne and her husband Edward Errasti of Duxbury, John Gillis and his wife Deborah of West Roxbury and Paul Gillis and his wife Eileen of West Roxbury. Cherished Papa of Lisa, Christine, Gregory, Nicholas, Kayla, Shawn, Kellie, Ryan, Kyle, Delaney, Brendan, Megan, Christopher and Timothy. George is survived by his triplet brother and sister, Donald J. Gillis of Dedham and Mary P. Farmer of Marshfield and is brother of the late Walter J., Daniel A., John K., Muriel Kouns and Shirley Conlon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Late U. S. Army Veteran, Ret. 42 year employee for New England Telephone Company.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Wednesday, October 28th at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00pm.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
