Virginia A. “Bee“ (Spooner) Spooner, 93, of N. Attleboro passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro after a brief illness. She was wife of the late William H. Spooner.
Born and raised in New Bedford, daughter of the late Albert F. Spooner, Jr. and the late Harriet Leona (Pittsley) Spooner, she had lived in N. Attleboro since 1955. Prior to retirement in 1982, she was a bookkeeper for Acushnet Hospital and she also worked for Oscar A. Hillman in N. Attleboro. An avid reader, she also enjoyed water coloring, tatting, doll making and fine needle working.
Survivors include a son: Wayne E. Spooner of N. Attleboro; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Shirley G. DeMoranville and Ruth F. LeValley.
