Pietro Ricci, 85 of died Saturday after a long illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Italy, he lived in Medford since 1983 and formerly of the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Teresa (Ricci) and Michele Ricci. Pietro was a Laborer with Local # 22 for 23 years working with various construction companies in the Boston area and retired in 1985. He was a member of Local #22.
Beloved husband of 601/2 years to Maria A. (Ricci) Ricci. Devoted father of Guerriero Ricci and his wife Rina of Medford, Mario Ricci and his wife Cathy of Malden, Michael Ricci and his wife Brenda of Stoneham, Luciano Ricci of Andover, Roger Ricci of Malden. Father in law of Antoniette Ricci of Woburn, and the late Jane Ricci. Loving grandfather of Peter, Nikita, Daniela, Nico and Fabio. Brother of Ettore Ricci and his wife Angela of Italy, and the late Guerriero Ricci and Filomena Baratta.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Monday 5 thru 9.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel Hill, Malden.
