Catherine L. (Johnson) Moran, 83, of Medway, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Patrick J. Moran who died in April of 2000.
Born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania on December 29, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Raymond B. and Margaret (Haughney) Johnson.
Mrs. Moran was a resident of Medway since 1993 and formerly resided in Lehigh, Florida and Madison, New Jersey.
Mrs. Moran loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She was an avid Red Sox fan and loved quilting and enjoyed music and musicals.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kennedy and her husband, John of Medway and two sons, Michael Moran and his wife, Kristin of Florham Park, New Jersey and Kevin Moran and his wife, Karen of Tolland, Connecticut.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shawn Collins, Erin Collins Brennan, Patrick and Matthew Moran and Robyn and Jordan Moran, her great-granddaughter, Keira Ann Brennan and two sisters, Rita Franceski of New Jersey and Marie De Masi of Florida.
She was a sister of the late Francis Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Tuesday, October 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway.
Catherine’s family will be receiving friends at her daughter’s home at 8 Holliston St. in Medway on Sunday, October 25 from 3 – 6 p.m.
