Obituary

Mando J. Guidaboni, 92, a lifelong resident of Plymouth, passed away at Life Care Center in Plymouth. He is survived by his beloved wife Celia (Scrocco) of Plymouth and his children Robert J. Guidaboni and his wife Maryellen of Plymouth and Betty Dallman and her husband Lawrence of Kingston. He also leaves his brother Alvin Guidaboni of Kingston and his 3 grandchildren John and Jay of Plymouth and Michele Sachetti of Danbury, CT. He was the brother of the late Norman Guidaboni. Mando graduated from Plymouth High, Class of 1935 and was the manager of the shoe department for Puritan Clothing. He also started the Jay Mando Orchestra which played at high schools from Plymouth to Provincetown and at the Garabaldi Club and Union Grove on Saturday nights for 35 years. A member of St. Mary’s Church, he enjoyed photography, his home and especially his family. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 26th at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Plymouth followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), Plymouth from 8:30 to 9:30 AM prior to the mass.
