Terrance Julian “Pappy” Lee, 65, of Summerville, husband of Bettie A. Lee died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11 o’clock at Summerville Baptist Church.
Burial will be held at 4 o’clock on Saturday at Lexington Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may visit at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o’clock Friday evening.

Terrance was born June 2, 1944 in Charleston, SC, son of Milledge Herman Lee and Gladys Lucille Creed Lee. He was a graduate of Porter Military Academy and attended the University of South Carolina where he played football in 1964. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1966 to 1970. He was past master of the Summerville Masonic Lodge #234, Scottish Rites, past member of Omar Shrine Temple and the Summerville Elks Lodge. He was also on the Board of Opticians Association of South Carolina. He was an optician with Dr. Price Optical Office in Summerville. He enjoyed various sports, fishing, shrimping and boating.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: 2 daughters: Mandy Addy (Chris) of Gilbert, SC and Laura Thomason (Brian) of Pelion, SC, 1 son: Troy Oswald (April) of Gilbert, SC, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sisters: Peggy Majewski (Norbert) of Summerville, Jean Peters of Hanahan and Joan Willis of Huntsville, Alabama, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers: M.H. Lee, Jr. and Charles H. Lee.
