Carla R. Corcoran, 45, of Amesbury, MA died Wed. Oct. 21st at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.
Carla grew up and was educated in Salem, NH graduating from Salem High School in 1982. She graduated from Salem State College in 1993. Carla was employed as a tour guide for The House of the Seven Gables, Salem, MA and as an interpreter at the Museum of American Textile History in North Andover. Most recently she volunteered at the Bartlett Museum in Amesbury. She worked extensively for various organizations that provided help for abused women and children in Salem and Lawrence, MA. Almost published, she was an avid and talented writer and fan of poetry and folklore.
She was predeceased by her father William J. Corcoran and her maternal grandparents Dr. Anthony and Mrs. Adeline Ippolito.

Funeral Services will be private for the family.
