Mr. Paul Leroy Miskelly
Augusta, GA – Mr. Paul Leroy Miskelly, age 78, beloved husband of Mrs. Alice T. Miskelly entered into rest on Monday, October 19, 2009 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Henry E. Miskelly officiating and Rev. Larry Brown assisting. Interment with military honors to follow at Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Miskelly served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict with the 23rd Infantry Regiment, Korean War Branch 2nd (Indian Head) Division Association, Inc. Mr. Miskelly was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and also American Legion Post 63.
In addition to his wife Mr. Miskelly is survived by his children, Sheila M. Farr and husband Jim, Paul R. Miskelly and wife Sheila, Henry E. Miskelly and wife Denise, Pamela M. Blackwelder, Cheryl E. Callaway and husband Wayne, Teresa E. Cole, and Steven G. Etheridge and wife Janice; his brother, Herman L. Miskelly and wife Vickie; his sixteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mr. Miskelly’s grandsons.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening October 21, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
