WORCESTER___Anthony A. Lidekauskas, 91, of Worcester, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 in Christopher House, 10 Mary Scano Drive.
He leaves his wife of 67 years, Helen (Mikelonis) Lidekauskas, a daughter, Carolyn M. Fitzpatrick and her husband, Michael J. Fitzpatrick of Leicester; two grandsons, Sean Fitzpatrick and his wife Sarah, and Todd Fitzpatrick, three great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Ryan and Michael and many nephews and nieces including Peter DeHaven and Michael Mastrototoro. He was born in Worcester, a son of Anthony and Delia (Bernatonis) Lidekauskas and was predeceased by all of his siblings.
Mr. Lidekauskas was a welder 25 years for Wyman Gordon Co., and retired many years ago. Anthony was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a graduate of Worcester Boy’s Trade High School. He was a member of St. Casimir Church, the Worcester Lodge of Elks #243, the Wyman-Gordon Gung Ho Club and was a member of the former Lithaunian War Veterans Organization.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.
