Mrs. Bettina I. “Betty” (Bagge) Connolly, of Taunton, died Monday, October 19, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Bernard J. “Bud” Connolly. She
was born 87 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late John J. and Ellen (Balfe) Bagge. She was educated in Taunton, having graduated from Taunton High School, and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at both the former Whittenton Garment Company and Eureka Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Connolly was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed cats and dogs, painting, and listening to big band music. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Taunton.

She was also the sister of the late Joseph, John, Arthur, Maurice, Desmond, George, Robert and Christine Bagge, Patricia Maynard, Eileen Kerr, Rita LePage and Margaret Erickson.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, October 24 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Relatives and
friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are omitted. Expressions of sympathy in her
