Miss Pauline A. Helphinstine 80 of Brockton, and a former resident of Marlborough, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at the Bay Point Nursing Home in Brockton.
Born in Milford, Sept. 28, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Paul M. and Adelena (Costello) Helphinstine. She formerly resided in Marlborough for many years, before moving to Brockton.
Miss Helphinstine was a retired schoolteacher for the Watertown Public Schools.
She was a member of the Massachusetts Teacher's Assoc. and enjoyed collectibles and antiques.
She is survived by a cousin Patricia Ober, of Upton, and a dear friend Laurie Pimental, of Raynham.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Wednesday, at 9:45 AM, from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., www.franklinfuneral.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church SQ Franklin, at 10 AM.
Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
