William L. Carney, 85 of Medford died Sunday in the Life Care Center Of Stoneham in Stoneham, MA.
Born in Boston, and formerly of East Boston he lived in Medford for the past 46 years and was the son of the late John and Margaret (Boyan) Carney. He was an Office Manager, employed by Sciva Construction for over 35 years and retired in 1985. William was a Master Sergeant in the U. S. Army during WW II and served from 1942 to 1945.
Cherished son of the late Margaret (Boyan) and John J. Carney. Brother of the late Rita Ferriani, Catherine Puccino, Mildred, John, George and James Carney. Also survived by eight nieces, five nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 55 Winthrop St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
