Obituary

Thomas “Tom” Scott, of Plymouth, passed suddenly on October 13th at the age of 81 at Jordan Hospital. Survived by his beloved wife Sybil Ann (Bellrose) Scott of Plymouth, his children Rhetta Scott of Plymouth, Thomas Jr. and his wife Joyce of North Troy, VT and Jennifer S. Brattlof and her husband Eric of Raymond, NH. He also leaves his brother William “Bill” of FL, his 6 grandchildren Shonna Li, Duane and Justin Scott, Jennifer Ruggles and Eric A. and Alyssa Brattlof, his 3 great grandchildren Zachary and Raeli Scott and Justin Dingman and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Hilary Scott, Walter Scott and Mary Brazil. Tom was born in Boston and attended Boston Schools. He joined the U.S Navy in 1945 and served during WWII. He was a woodworker working on kitchen cabinets and finish work and had worked for Farina Brothers, South Shore Lumber and the Arnold Trailer Company along with being self-employed. Tom was an avid Red Sox fan who enjoyed his work and especially loved spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th at 3:30 pm at the 2nd Church of Plymouth in Manomet. There are no visiting hours and burial is private.
