Obituary

Bridget Bucklin, 99, of Parker Street, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Greenville Health Center. She was the widow of Paul R. Bucklin, Sr.

Born in Paisley, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Honora (O’Connor) Jamieson. She was a resident of Harmony and had previously lived in Pawtucket.

Mrs. Bucklin was a butcher for the former Almacs stores before retiring. She was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters & Butcher Workmen of North America. She had been a communicant of St. Philip Church.

She is survived by her son Paul R. Bucklin, Jr. and his wife, Sonne of North Attleboro, MA, two grandchildren and a great granddaughter. She was the grandmother of the late Paul R. Bucklin, III.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation is respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony Fire Department, PO Box 360, Harmony, RI,02829.
