DUNN, MAYME LEE, 99, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Treyton Oak Towers where she resided.
She was the former Mayme Goodin. Mayme was a member of Beechmont Baptist Church, a former member of the Old Virginia Avenue Baptist Church, and retired from the old Kaufmann-Strauss Dept. Store as a salesclerk.
Mayme is survived by her son, Leon (Shirley); two granddaughters, (Cathy Fain and Becky Denton); three great-granddaughters (Laura, Tracey and Cara); and two great-great-granddaughters; with a great-great grandson due in six weeks.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Treyton Oak Towers where they took excellent care of her for the past eight years.
Services will be noon on Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy with burial in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville, KY. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolence at www.owenfuneral home.com.
