FALL RIVER — Estelle Caron Baker of Dartmouth, died on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the wife of Kimball A. Baker Jr.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joseph E. and the late Alboma Emond Caron, she is survived by her three daughters: Donna Johnson of New Bedford, Denise Tripp of Florida, and Debra Shumway of New Hampshire and a stepdaughter Karen Starvaggi of Dartmouth. Also three sons: Paul and Michael Profita of New Bedford and Robert Profita of Florida and a stepson Kimball A. Baker III of Dartmouth, a brother Carl Caron of New Bedford. Estelle was the sister of the late Irene Furtado, Edgar Caron, Paul Caron and Philip Caron and Gabrielle Dutra. Twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive her, and two nieces and three nephews.
She lived in New Bedford until 1975, moving to New Hampshire for five years, then returning to this area in 1980. Estelle was a member of Grace Episcopal Church since 1971.
