Marc James Marino, a lifelong resident of Medford died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October 10, 2009. He was 28 years old.
Born in Melrose, Massachusetts, on June 1, 1981, he was the beloved son of Leo Marino of Braintree and Karen A. Lavin of Medford and loved by their spouses, Judi-Ann Marino of Braintree and Bill Utterback of Medford. Marc was a graduate of Medford High School and attended Clark University in Woburn. He was a technical support technition of computers for several years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing hockey, a sport he also enjoyed while growing up in Medford. He also enjoyed music and was an American History buff. Above all, Marc was a devoted father of his beloved son, Michael T. Marino.
Besides his loving parents and son, he will be sadly missed by one brother; Christopher M. and his wife Maya Maggiore of Medford, one sister Kaitlyn A. Utterback of Medford, grandparents; Elena Marino and Rose and Tom Lavin all of Medford, his loving girlfriend; Monique Forester of Tewksbury and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Marc was also the grandson of the late Leo Marino.
His funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 8 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held Wednesday, October 14, 2009, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
