Jeffrey P. Shaw, 34, of Auburn, NH, died Saturday, August 23, 2003 at the Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, ME. He was born in Nashua, NH on November 19, 1968, a son of Lindley L. and Olive (Drummey) Shaw. He was a resident of Auburn for the past two years, formerly living in Franklin, MA and Windham, NH where he was raised. He was educated in Windham schools and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH, Class of 1988. He graduated from the University of NH in Durham with his BS in Civil Engineering in 1992 and his MS in Environmental Engineering in 1994. While at UNH he was a member of the sailing team. Mr. Shaw was employed by Geo-Insight in Londonderry, NH as an Environmental Engineer. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and was a nationally registered PE (Professional Engineer). He was a member of the Windham Presbyterian Church in Windham. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially skiing, biking, boating, running, hiking, snowmobiling and sailing.
Besides his parents of Windham, he is survived by his wife, Sara C. (Ek) Shaw of Auburn, his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Shaw of Hampton, NH, his brother, Bradley Shaw and his wife Pamela of Plaistow, NH, his sister, Bonnie Eckerman and her husband Jonathan of Warrensburg, MO, one niece, Miranda Eckerman, his mother-in-law, Julia Campbell of Pioneer, CA, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28th at 10:30am at the Windham Presbyterian Church, corner of Church St. and Lowell Rd., Windham. The burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9.
