Obituary

Methuen, MA- Glenis S. (Allatt) Hebert, 83, died Sunday October 11, 2009 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover surrounded by those she loved.
Born in Methuen on January 19, 1926, Glenis was the daughter of James and Grace (Seymour) Allatt. Educated in the Methuen School System, she was a graduate of the Edward F. Searles High School Class of “1943”.
For many years Glenis had been a Real Estate Agent with Hart Realty in Methuen. She was also a legal secretary in the Merrimack Valley.
Glenis’ biggest joy was spending time with her family. She loved the water and enjoyed swimming, sailing and freshwater fishing with her husband, Robert.
The widow of the late Albert T. Hart, Glenis is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband of 28 years Robert H. Hebert of Methuen; her son, Thomas R. Hart of East Kingston, NH; a step-daughter, Barbara Morton and her husband Wayne of CA; a step-son Robert Hebert II. and his wife Linda of NY; former daughter in-law Kathy Gagnon and her husband Ronald J. of Methuen; grandchildren, Jeffery Hart and his wife Amy of Salem, NH; Jennifer Griffin and her husband Brian of Salem, NH; Jeffery Morton and his wife Katie of NY; Kerry Joyce and her husband Michael of CA; Robert Hebert III of NY and Lindsey Gifford and her husband Gary of NY; as well as six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Herbert was pre-deceased by her two brothers, James and Edward Allatt.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, October 14th from 4-8 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday morning, October 15th at 10 AM at the Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Glenis’ name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street Watertown, MA 02472.
