Obituary

Mark S. Ringer of Saugus and formerly of Chelsea passed away suddenly at Massachusetts General Hospital on October 9, 2009. He was 62 years old. Mark was born in Winthrop, MA. He was educated in the Chelsea Schools and graduated from Chelsea High School. Mark went on to graduate from the Franklin Institute and the Boston Architectural Center.

Mark worked as a manager at Somerville Lumber for over 20 years. He worked serving the public the last 8 years for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority. He was the co founder of the North Shore Auto Club and was a member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. Mark was an antique car enthusiast. Most of all Mark loved spending his free time with family, grandchildren, and friends.

Mark was the beloved husband of Cynthia Ringer for the last 38 years. He was the devoted father of Dr. Amy Donovan and her husband Ben. Mark was the loving son of the late Joseph and Eva Ringer. He was the dear brother of Ina Ringer. Mark was also the loving grandfather of Max Theodore and Eden Faye Donovan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.


A Graveside Service will be held at the Agudos Shalom Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett on Monday, October 12 at 11:00 AM. Memorial observance will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th floor, Boston, MA 02110 or to a charity of your choice.
