In Raynham, October 9, 2009 Arthur Deniz died at Life Care Center in Raynham at the age of 82. Born and educated in Taunton, Arthur was the son of the late Antonio and Sophia (Cambra) Deniz. Arthur was a veteran in the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. Arthur worked at Trucchis Supermarket in West Bridgewater as a clerk, before that he was employed as a Human Resource Manager for Harridate in No. Dighton and Wallaston Alloys in Braintree. He was a member of the Taunton Lodge of Elk’s, V.F.W. and a Mason. Arthur was on the first Babe Ruth baseball team in the city of Taunton and was scouted by the N.Y Yankees. Arthur was the father of Gail Kohn of Taunton, Susan Travers of Dighton and Debra Potter of Taunton. Step Father of Michael Dennen of Sagamore, Stephen Dennen of Taunton, Richard Dennen of Taunton, Kathleen Dennen of Taunton and Pamela Andre of Taunton. Brother of Antone Diniz of Raynham. Grandfather of twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at the Bourne National Cemetery Tuesday, October 13th at 12:30 pm.
