Roseanne (Capaccio) Reynolds of Groton Long Point, CT and Lewisburg, PA, formerly of Longmeadow MA passed away at home surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
She was born Oct. 4, 1949 in Springfield MA and spent her childhood in Wilbraham MA. Roseanne graduated from Cathedral High School in 1968 and attended Elms College in Chicopee MA before embarking on a career in the restaurant industry. She worked in several restaurants in the Springfield area developing her skills. Her entrepreneurial spirit led to her becoming the founder and original owner of Café Manhattan in Spfld MA for 11 years. Later she went on to manage the Colony Club, Spfld MA and Stonington Yacht Club, Stonington CT
Roseanne loved to entertain family & friends. She opened her heart & home to everyone. She was very creative and had a passion for home decorating and gardening. She loved to help others transform their homes with existing treasures and flea market finds. Roseanne will be truly missed by everyone she touched.
She was predeceased by her parents Nicholas J and Theresa A Capaccio, husband Denis A Shine. Roseanne is survived by her loving husband Craig Reynolds, daughter Jessica Taylor, her fiancée JT Dorman of Ludlow MA, Ashley Collins Messenger her husband Kevin of Maverick NH. Sharah Shine London her husband Michael of Brooklyn Heights NY grandchildren Trevor Faulis and Darby London. Brothers, Frank Capaccio wife Carol of Spfld MA Nick Capaccio wife Sabrina of Oxford MA, a sister Lori (Capaccio) Giza husband Michael of Ludlow MA along with several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial/Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 24th from 1:00-3:00PM at the Longmeadow Country Club, Longmeadow, Mass.
