GLOUCESTER: Francis E. “Frank” Deschene, 41, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, October 6, 2009 at his residence. He had been a resident of Gloucester for the past four years.
Born in Gloucester on February 2, 1968, he was the son of Arthur and Donna (Tarr) Deschene of Danvers. He had attended Danvers public Schools.
Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. Following the service, he had resided in Las Vegas and Florida. He had numerous interests and occupations including computer programming. At one time, he was employed by Rule Industries.
Frank had great personality and wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He was an avid reader and loved animals, especially his dog, Yoda. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by his fiancée, Kathy Perruzzi, and her son, Andrew “AJ” Peruzzi, his brother, Robert Deschene of Florida, a sister and brother-in-law, Michelle Deschene-Warren and Hayden Warren of Danvers, an uncle, Francis Tarr and an aunt, Janice, wife of Anthony Curcuru all of Gloucester as well as many cousins and dear friends.
His funeral service will be held on Monday morning in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Cape Ann Animal Aid, 260 Main St., Gloucester.
